System of the Week - 28/10

It was a tough week for some of our most popular systems.  Time Factors and Mega Pot both struggled after a good run over recent weeks.  The thing to remember is that both these systems have average dividends of around $11 so a run of outs from time to time is expected.  This has opened the door for some new contenders to fight it out for System of the Week honors.

Tylendale's long shot system So Hot I Have to Share picked four winners for the week out over $20 but took 60 selections to find them. Regardless, the return was a healthy $28.

One of Formulator's newer systems Pace Ace has been hovering around the break even mark since its creation a month ago but Pace Ace broke through this week with profits of $28 per $1 invested.  From 12 runners Pace Ace found 4 winners including Zephyron at Rosehill on Saturday that paid $31.  With a healthy strike rate of 25% Pace Ace is definitely a system to watch and this week's System of the Week winner.

A quick note to our members who took part in the competition to find the Cox Plate winner…you will all get your chance again with the Derby.  Obviously with a maiden winner the race for the first time profiling approaches were not going to work.  Hopefully with the Derby we can replicate some of the success we found with our Caulfield Cup systems.

Thanks for that Brystar ... when it comes to the Cox Plate I discovered (after the fact, of course!) that with a minor adjustment of a certain criteria I could of nabbed the winner with just one hit, perhaps you discovered similar ?... Anyway, I will save my updated version for next year and hope for better luck :)... as for the " Pretty Coloured Jockey System" you mentioned, I have a funny feeling that the jockeys in green silks outperform those in red silks Lol. ... Good luck with the rest of your race specific systems... Cheers!
